Meet Billy
Anderson Island HomeWatch is owned and operated by Bill McAlaine (aka Billy or BillyMac). Billy, his wife Rachel have been full-time residents of Anderson Island since 2021. Both work from home and here on island.
Billy brings 10 years of property management experience with two of the largest vacation rental companies in Breckenridge, CO, during his 15 years of residence. As the Director of Homeowner Operations, he oversaw 500+ properties.
Around the island, Billy is known as the “Mushroom Man,” thanks to his ownership of the Moontime Mushroom Co., an on-island mushroom farm that delivers free to locals, and is also one of only two outside vendors at the Saturday Garden Markets, which take place at the historic Johnson Farm, and are held by the Anderson Island Historical Society. It’s this combination of being a reliable and well known community member, his hands-on property management experience and love for this local community that Billy cherishes, that make him the right person to oversee your home while you’re away.
